The above amounts are initial basic pay under the 7th Central Pay Commission. Other allowances are not included.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification on or before the application closing date. Candidates awaiting final examination results are not eligible.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The standard age limit is 18 to 33 years as on 01 January 2027.
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation
- PwBD: 10 years for UR/EWS, 13 years for OBC-NCL and 15 years for SC/ST, subject to conditions
- Other eligible categories may receive relaxation under the notification.
Application Fee
- General and other applicable categories: ₹500
- SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities and eligible EBC candidates: ₹250
Eligible candidates who appear for the first-stage CBT will receive a refund after deduction of applicable bank charges. Payment must be made online.

Negative marking of one-third of a mark applies for every wrong answer in the CBTs. The notification states that the typing skill test has been dispensed with for Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist.
