Position : Accountant
Location: Muscat, Oman
Experience: Minimum 2 years in the Travels industry (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements and handle monthly closing processes
- Monitor receivables/payables and maintain general ledgers
- Oversee tax and VAT compliance in accordance with Omani regulations
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure smooth financial audits
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
Candidate Preferences
- Candidates currently available in Oman are given priority
- Qualified candidates from India with relevant experience in the Travels sector will also be considered
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in the Travels industry accounting processes
- Knowledge of Omani tax laws, including VAT filing and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
