Job Overview:
The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes within the company’s oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of API Q1 and Q2 standards, along with hands-on experience in NDT methods such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).
This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining compliance with international standards and ensuring the integrity and safety of operations and equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of API Q1 & Q2 standards
- Hands-on experience in NDT methods (MPI, UT, PT, VT)
- Proficient in thread inspection, gauge calibration, and lifting gear inspections
- Familiar with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Solid understanding of international codes such as ASME and NACE
- Experienced in quality audits, NCR handling, and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
