Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Type: Full-Time
Company : Reputed logistics and services company in Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintain, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS and GAAP
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings
- Handle bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and cash flow management
- Use Tally ERP for all day-to-day accounting tasks and financial documentation
- Monitor and control budgets, ensure compliance with internal policies
- Coordinate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and provide required documentation
- Maintain organized records for all financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with Qatar’s financial regulations and reporting standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 to 6 years of proven experience in Qatar as a Senior Accountant
- Strong command of Tally ERP software
- Deep knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations
- Experience handling AP/AR processes, payroll entries, and reconciliations
- Valid Qatar Driving License
- Must have a valid NOC for job transfer
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
- Preferred Nationality: Philippines
