Continue to monitor and confirm all activities in the fields of Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Flight Training, and Engineering Maintenance to ensure they are brought out under the oversight of the applicable “Nominated Post Holder” and in accordance with the standard standards and guidelines of Air Arabia, GCAA/CAA Authorities, as well as other Regulatory Bodies.

  • Credentials (Academic, training, languages) 
  1. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (CAR66- AMEL), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Auditing or equivalent;
  2. Alternatively, a diploma or certificate in the relevant field and/or ATPL are acceptable (Airline Transport Pilot License – more than 3000 FH)
  3. If it was not his/her major, he/she must have completed formal aeronautical maintenance training.
  4. Must be eligible for GCAA approval as Manager Quality Assurance “Post Holder.”
  5. Certificates in Auditing, Quality Assurance, and/or Compliance, such as IOSA or ISO – Lead Assessor, are highly desirable, and some may be considered a requirement for this position.
  6. A project management certificate, or proven corresponding work experience, is desirable.
  7. Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint), Internet, and Web Search skills are required.

  • 8+ years of practice in various disciplines in the aviation/airline industry, with at least 4 years leading the “Quality Assurance” or “Compliance” function; low-cost airline expertise is a bonus.
  • Vast knowledge of GCAA and CAA rules and regulations, as well as the requirements for Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Flight Training, and Engineering Maintenance: policies, procedures, manuals, certification, and licensing.
  • General understanding of ICAO ISARPS.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with airline documentation and record-keeping systems.

  • Obtain experience in working areas over a two-year period and illustrate skills and knowledge appropriate for the Engineer role.
  • Must include AMP, Systems, Reliability, Warranty, Propulsion, APU, short/long term maintenance, Technical Records, Technical Library, logistics, rotatable control, and special projects as areas of study.

  • Undertake: 
    • Ensures on-time arrival, proper grooming, strength and conditioning, and legality for assigned flights. Attends “Briefing” to ensure that flight details are acknowledged, roles are distributed, targets are met, security checks are completed, boarding is completed, and so on.
  • Safety precautions:
    • Directs passengers on how to follow safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.
    • Identifies areas of safety and security risk and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective action in line with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
    • When necessary, provide first aid to passengers.
    • Notifies the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or misfires as soon as possible.
  • Customer Support:
    • Greets passengers and assists them with their boarding procedures; enters necessary data into the aircraft log book in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.

  •  For this position, a diploma or higher secondary certificate is required; a diploma in travel/tourism is preferred.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
