About Us

The National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah PJSC, a public joint stock corporation with headquarters in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, trades under the name RAKBANK. It is traded on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). RAKBANK is a retail and corporate bank in the UAE with assets of AED 52.8 billion, deposits of AED 36.9 billion, and a net profit of AED 505.4 million at the end of 2020. Through a network of 27 locations, as well as its ATMs, telephone, internet, and mobile banking channels, the Bank offers conventional and Islamic retail, small business, and commercial banking services.

In the midst of a wave of investments in the nation’s Shariah-compliant financial industry at the beginning of 2013, the Bank established an Islamic Banking division, RAKBANK AMAL. Its subsidiary, RAK Islamic Finance Company, provides the Islamic banking products and services. Following shareholder approval, the Bank declared in August 2014 that it intended to purchase the majority of Ras Al Khaimah National Insurance Company (RAKNIC). During the bank’s regular general meeting, which was conducted on Monday at the bank’s headquarters in Ras Al Khaimah, shareholders decided to support the bank purchasing a majority stake at a price of Dh3.64 per share. The purchase will be made through a proposal to all RAKNIC shareholders.
