AL NASSER 0 – 2 AL HILAL: RONALDO’S TEAM STUMBLES UPON TITLE RACE

Tuesday night crashed Al-Nasser’s promising advances at the Champions League. The 9x Pro League titleholders, Al-Naser faintly battled it out with the 8-time AFC Champion League medalist, Al Hilal at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

Swiftly maintaining 6 years as first tier Pro League Champion team, Al Nasser lost their bid with a remaining score ground of 3 points in the upcoming 6 games to lead. Captain Christiano Ronaldo’s far-fetched dream of traversing to the top of the Al-Ittihad board, was lopsided by just two penalty goals served by Al-Hilal’s ace center scorer Odion Ighalo.

Although the first-tier Pro Champion League team, Al-Hilal appeared to form a staggering position in comparison to Al-Naser nevertheless, they commanded the grounds during the first half of the match by 1-0. Ronaldo’s team later stumbled to exert their influence on the scoreboard depicting an unimpressive night. Coach Dinko Jelicic however failed to usher the team back trailing them 6 points behind in the race for the Al-Ittihad title.
