Description
The primary responsibility of this position will be to Collect scrap from all departments. Secondly, Coordination of the selling and disposal of scrap. Then Incorporate the waste segregation program. Fourthly, The contractor is in charge of overseeing waste movement. Then Create scrap movement reports. And the following duties too; In the scrap area, implement the 5S program and HSE requirements. Follow the savings from the waste segregation program. Monitor the condition of the waste segregation tools. Provide waste segregation training to both casual and full-time employees. Work with other departments to reduce the amount of waste sent to the landfill. Maintain quality standards throughout the selling process. Any other environmental tasks too.
What does it take to qualify?
Bachelor’s degree in Environment or a related field. Preferably 1 to 3 years experience as a scrap or materials coordinator, or a noteworthy OSHA Nebosh certificate.
